How To Setup A Direct Mail Campaign With LetterPrinting.net

At this time, we recommend a service called LetterPrinting.net to print your letters and mail from. There are many similar services out there, but LetterPrinting.net has a lot of cool options that work well with our direct mail campaigns to the owners.

Overview

At this time LetterPrinting.net requires 3 things in order for you to set up a campaign.

  1. You need to create an order from their website or over the phone by calling their sales line listed on their website. The price depends on the number of mail pieces that you order as well as the options you choose for printing, the type of paper and also how you want the postage handled.
    Here are the order options we recommend using for the Neutral Letter:


    NOTE: That’s 57 cents per letter! (Order must have a quantity over 700 letters to get this discount rate and the timeline is extended to about 3 weeks using these options).
  2. They require that you send them both your letter template and envelope template to them as a .pdf file and it needs to be formatted using their merge field format. (Explained below)
  3. They require you to upload a .csv containing all the recipients of the campaign and their contact information that will be used in your template files that you upload to them.

SETP 1: How To Generate A Mailing List For LetterPrinting.net

  1. Log into your Investment Dominator Admin Console and navigate to either the ‘Land Deals‘ or ‘House Deals‘ section depending on what type of properties you will be working with.
  2. Click on the link at the top left of the page called ‘Generate Documents‘.

  3. Click on the green CSV Icon next to the letter campaign you want to generate. This will download a .csv file that you can upload to your LetterPrinter.net order ticket.

SETP 2: How To Create Template Files For LetterPrinting.net

  1. Log into your Investment Dominator Admin Console and navigate to either the ‘Land Deals‘ or ‘House Deals‘ section depending on what type of properties you will be working with.
  2. Click on the link at the top left of the page called ‘Generate Documents‘.a
  3. Hover over the blue [?] link to the right of the CSV Icon to bring up the help tip.
  4. Click on the ‘Generate Prospect Neutral Letter Template‘ and ‘Generate Envelope Template‘ links to generate these templates. Save these .pdf files to your computer and then upload them to your LetterPrining.net order ticket along with your .csv mailing list that you generated in step-2 of this article.

 Updating The Records In The Investment Dominator After The Mail Has Been Sent

Once LetterPrinting.net has confirmed that the letters have been mailed you will want to update the status of your prospects to a mailed status.

  1. Log back into your Investment Dominator Admin Console and click on either the ‘Land Deals‘ or ‘House Deals‘ tab then on the ‘Generate Documents‘ link at the top right of the page.
  2. Then click on the ‘Bulk Update Records‘ button to move all these prospects into the next Status.
