How to Fill in Property Record Information for Land

When a seller calls you in response to a mailing, you will want to get as much information as you can about the seller and their property. We do this for two reasons: 1) to gauge the interest of the seller in their property, and 2) to be able to make a fair offer to the seller.

The easiest way is to locate the seller’s record in the Investment Dominator and then to click “Edit”. This will open the property record and will allow you to add, change, or delete details about the property.

Once the property record is open, you (or a call center employee) can simply go down the list of items. If the caller doesn’t know the answer that’s ok, just skip it for now.

Among the most important questions that you do not want to skip are those listed in the section “Owner’s interest in property”.

questions

How the owner answers these questions will let you know how attached they are to the property, and that will affect the final offer you make them.
