What is an API?

API stands for application program interface (API) and is basically a set of routines, protocols, and tools that allow a programmer to get or post data from one application to another.

What can I use the API for?

You can use our API to get or post property, owner, or contact data from your Investment Dominator CRM to use in other 3rd party applications.

For example, if you have an existing website or system that you want to utilize you can use the Investment Dominator to manage your deal flow, but also program and API script to automatically pull data about a property once it hits a particular status into another website that you own.

How to get started?

1. You will need the help of a web developer or coder because using the API is a bit technical and does require you to program a script.
2. Generate a secure API key under your ‘Profile> API Credentials‘ section.
3. Have your developer study the API Documentation which is accessible by going to ‘Profile> API User Guide’.
4. This detailed documentation covers everything from how to connect to the API, to what data you can access through the API, and even contains sample scripts and tools for your developer to use and reference.

NOTE: The API is a self-service feature which is not supported by customer or technical support. If you do not have a programmer that can help you with an API integration then check out our Zapier.com integration which does not require a web developer in order to utilize the power of the API.

Do I need An Active Investment Dominator Account To Use The API?

Yes, in order to use our API you need an active Investment Dominator PRO account.
