Why is the number on the envelope different than the ID?

We have received this question, and maybe you have noticed it to.

Each record has an id number…

… but when you generate your mailings, you will see that printed number on the envelope and letter is different.

What in the world is going on?

The Investment Dominator was designed to keep your records organized even in the rare case when one owner has multiple properties. So the number that you will see on the mail deals page is the PROPERTY ID, and there might be multiple property IDs for each owner.

The number that prints out on the generated documents is the OWNER ID unique to each individual.
